Ziel: Die Bestimmung erwarteter Renditen erfolgt auf Basis von Risikofaktoren. Die Anzahl an Faktoren, welche mutmaßlich einen signifikanten Beitrag zur Prognose erwarteter Renditen beitragen, ist in den letzten Jahren rasant angestiegen. Jedoch ist es fraglich, ob eine solche Menge an Faktoren notwendig ist, um die erwartete Rendite von Aktien zu erklären. Daher ist es das Ziel dieser Arbeit, Studien zur Relevanz moderner long-short Faktoren auf dem US Aktienmarkt zu erläutern und kritisch zu analysieren.

Possible factors could be, for example, access to data, political and economic interests, advertising or personal connections that influence reporting.
